My Dad's interests

To this day I have never known anyone as physically active and mentally alert as him. He walked for miles and completed the whole of the South West coastal path, he loved literature, art, music, the countryside, birds, butterflies, canoeing and had many, many more hobbies. Every weekend he walked, even at 60 he was fitter than I was at 30, indeed he wouldn’t let me (or anyone) accompany him on his marathon walks because ‘we wouldn’t keep up’. He played chess against the computer, was keen on ‘Suduku’, read endlessly and was rigorous about his diet.
